Support

Last updated: March 2026

ContractIQ support is available to FMO administrators, insurance carriers, and licensed insurance agents. The fastest path to resolution depends on your role. Review the section below that applies to you.

General Support

For general platform questions, account issues, and non-urgent requests, contact us at support@contractiq.com.

Response times: Support is available during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, excluding federal holidays. We aim to respond to all support inquiries within 24 to 48 business hours of receipt.

When submitting a support request, include your name, organization, the email address associated with your ContractIQ account, and a clear description of the issue. Screenshots or error messages are helpful but not required.

For FMO Administrators

FMO administrators have the broadest access to ContractIQ functionality, including agent management, carrier credential issuance, and contracting job oversight. Most common issues can be resolved directly within the FMO portal.

Common FMO tasks: Inviting agents, monitoring active contracting jobs, managing carrier relationships, and issuing or revoking API credentials are all handled within the FMO portal at /fmo/dashboard.

For issues that require INSURASAFE intervention — such as carrier configuration changes, organization-level account changes, or data correction requests — contact support@contractiq.com with your FMO organization name and a description of the requested change.

Platform documentation for FMO administrators is available at the Help link in your sidebar navigation.

For Carriers

Insurance carriers using the ContractIQ API for agent data retrieval should contact api-support@contractiq.com for all API-related issues.

API support handles: authentication and API key issues, field mapping and data format questions, webhook configuration, API endpoint errors, and bulk retrieval questions. Include your carrier name, the API endpoint you are calling, and any error codes or responses you are receiving.

The API field map reference is available in your carrier portal at /carrier/field-map. API documentation is at /carrier/api-docs.

For carrier account setup, FMO relationship configuration, or contract questions, contact support@contractiq.com.

For Licensed Insurance Agents

If you are an insurance agent completing a contracting application in ContractIQ, your first point of contact for most issues is the FMO that invited you to the platform. Your FMO administrator can assist with invitation links, wizard navigation questions, and application status.

Contact your FMO administrator for: resending an invitation link, questions about which products to select during the wizard, understanding your contracting status, and general guidance on the contracting process.

Contact ContractIQ support directly at support@contractiq.com for: technical errors in the wizard that prevent you from progressing, document upload failures, account access issues (password reset, MFA problems), and data correction requests for information you have already submitted.

We do not make appointment decisions. Contracting approval is determined by the carrier, not ContractIQ. For appointment status questions, contact your FMO.

Urgent and Emergency Issues

For urgent issues affecting active contracting operations — including platform outages, data integrity concerns, or suspected security incidents — contact urgent@contractiq.com.

Urgent requests are monitored during extended business hours. For confirmed security incidents, please also contact security@contractiq.com directly.

Please reserve the urgent contact for genuine operational emergencies. Routine support requests sent to the urgent address will be rerouted to the standard support queue.
